Black Bean Nachos

1 can Goode black beans, drained and rinsed

2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon kosher salt, more to taste

1 lime, juiced and zested

10 oz. tortilla chips

5 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

5 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded

Toppings:

1 jalapeño, sliced

1/3 cup black olives, sliced

1/3 cup red onion, diced

1/2 cup fresh diced tomato

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

1/2 red pepper, chopped

Chopped Lettuce

Avocado sauce

Dips:

Sour Cream

Salsa/Guacamole

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 13×9 baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add black beans, cumin, onion and garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, oregano, salt and pepper, and the lime juice and zest. Mix it well

Spread a thin layer of tortilla chips on the baking sheet. Then evenly spread jalapenos, olives, and red onion , black bean and spread cheese. Spread another layer of chips, and repeat the cheese and toppings layers.

Bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly golden. Remove from oven and top with additional toppings: tomatoes, red pepper , cilantro, and avocado sauce. Squeeze with another lime as desired. Serve with dips and enjoy!
