Chick Pea Curry

Serves 3-4


  • 1 can of chickpeas form @goodefoodsfamily
  • 1/2 can of coconut milk
  • 1/2 can of tomato paste
  • 1 onion – finely chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves – minced
  • 1 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp of chilli powder
  • 1 tsp of curry powder Broccoli or choice of Vegetables
  • Salt to taste Serve with rice.


Step 1.

Add a dash of oil to a large pan and once hot add in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Fry the gently for 3-4 minutes until it starts to caramelized.

Step 2.

Add in all the spices, Cook for another minute.

Step 3.

Add in the drained chickpeas, coconut milk and tomato paste.

Step 4.

Mix everything together, Put the lid on and cook on a low heat for 10 minutes. Add choice of Vegetables and cook for another 5-10 min .Serve with some rice and Enjoy.
